Job Description

The Mechanical Overseer at Superhewa Power Company Ltd. is responsible for overseeing the erection of electromechanical (EM) equipment and the operation of the powerhouse. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience and will ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the erection and commissioning of electromechanical equipment in the powerhouse.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of mechanical systems and machinery.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and technicians.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
