• To prepare weekly, monthly and annual plan of maintenance of machinery and equipment and materials required for production and manage to make them available
  
• To identify the number of workers and supervisors required for production process and prepare a plan to make them available
  
• To operate the production process determining suitable production process criteria to produce specified quality products and giving due information to the related workers and supervisors
  
• To keep records of raw materials, fuel, energy and different supplies consumed in the production process and quantity of products produced
  
• To keep the records of stoppage of production process and their causes
  
• To keep the records of production process parameters such as quantity of billet, temperature of furnace at different places, sizes of roll pass and roll sections, temperature and pressure of water in TMT Quenching box, weight per meter and cross section (whether the product is rolled out or not), rib and lug sizes of the product
  
• To monitor production standards such as raw material, fuel, electricity, store and supplies consumption, mill breakdown and their causes and prepare a corrective action plan and implement it
  
• To make corrective action plan and take corrective action by identifying and analyzing problems of the production process
  
• To maintain the discipline of workers and employee of production section as per company's rule and regulation
  
• To do other works as per the instructions of Manager Plant Division
