Roles and responsibilities of this job

A leading Hydropower Company operating >50MW project is looking for experienced Mechanical Engineer to support its hydropower projects in operations, maintenance, and the design of hydromechanical and electromechanical components.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support hydropower plant operations and maintenance activities.
Monitor mechanical equipment and ensure reliable and efficient plant operation.
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
Design and review hydromechanical and electromechanical components for hydropower projects.
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and design documents.
Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
Coordinate with project and engineering teams for smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with technical, safety, and project requirements.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Minimum BE in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in hydropower plant operations and maintenance of a size more than 40MW.
Minimum 5 years of experience in design of hydromechanical and electromechanical components of hydropower.
Strong knowledge of hydropower operations and maintenance.
Skilled in hydromechanical and electromechanical design.
Proficient in equipment management and troubleshooting.
Good technical and engineering analysis skills.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
