Roles and responsibilities of this job

Build up Nepal is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join out team and work to introduce low-cost housing and replace fired bricks with eco-friendly CSEB interlocking bricks.

We are looking for a person with practical experience of both designing, drawing and building machines and who likes to get their hands dirty in the workshop.

Duties and Responsibilities

Designing, drawing and prototyping new machines
Develop CAD drawings of machines and parts
Analyzing problems in existing machines and design solutions
Keep track of and ensure service issues are resolved
solve problems and build new prototypes in our workshop
Troubleshooting and customer service
Work with and troubleshooting of hydraulics

Skills Required

Min 5 years industry experience
3D Cad drawings (preferably solidworks)
Experience of practically working in a factory/workshop as well as with designing
Knowledge of hydraulics is a big plus point

The work is based out of our office in Lalitpur with field visits from time to time.
