DBS has been working in the field of Livelihood, WASH and Sanitation, Disaster Risk Management/Climate change Adaptation, Good governance and Right Protection and Institutional Capacity development. DBS is going to start Integrated Nutrition and Resilient Livelihood Technical Program (NRL TP) in partnership with World Vision International Nepal. The project will be implement in Bhajani, Ghodaghodi, Tikapur and Gaurignga Municipality and kailari Rural Municipality of Kailali District. Position : MEAL Officer

Vacancy : 1

Under direct supervision of the Programme Manager the purpose of the position will be responsible to collect, compile, verify, analyse and update information of all the programme, collected from community in a way that provides accurate and valid information and database. Provide necessary support to WVIN for periodic baseline, evaluation and monitoring process in the assigned program areas and to improve the quality of programmes and information management through improved monitoring and accountability system in the programme areas.

Minimum Qualification and experience: Bachelor’s degree in social science or development studies. At least 2 years of experience working with I/NGO. Work experience & skills in monitoring, evaluation & accountability. Especially having experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection, data cleaning, tabulation, analysis and sharing. Data collection through electronic devices. Higher level of skills in MS Excel. Handling community level feedback.

Major responsibility: Data collection methodologies – qualitative and quantitative, Effective written and oral communications skills including presentation and reporting skills, Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Ability to work under pressure, collect information against indicators, Demonstrate collaboration & team building skills, handling feedback from community, Confidence to represent in district, government and other like-minded organization, Programmer logic, indicators, M&E plan, Produce database monitoring and interpretation skill, Presentation skills in different forum and network.
