Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Mathematics Teacher for our prestigious secondary level program at Everest English School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, a passion for teaching, and experience working with students at the secondary level. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape young minds and inspire the next generation of mathematicians.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive mathematics lessons for secondary level students
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies based on students' individual needs and abilities
Use a variety of teaching methods to ensure students understand and retain complex mathematical concepts
Create and grade assignments and tests to accurately assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with other teachers and educational professionals to develop and implement a cohesive mathematics curriculum
Monitor and track students' academic performance and provide support and intervention as needed
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss students' progress and address any concerns
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages and supports students' learning and growth
Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in mathematics education and incorporate them into teaching practices

Note: Candidates with teaching experience, extensive teaching training, and a strong academic background will be invited to undergo a written test, classroom demonstration, and final interview.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Mathematics
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
Proven track record of student academic success
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and work collaboratively with colleagues
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Passion for teaching and motivating students to excel in Mathematics
