Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a passionate and competent Mathematics Teacher for the Secondary Level. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction, fostering analytical and problem-solving skills, and supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes within a disciplined and values-based learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics lessons in accordance with the Secondary Level curriculum.
Develop students' numerical, analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, assignments, and examinations.
Assess and monitor student progress and provide timely feedback for improvement.
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.
Create an engaging, supportive, and student-centered classroom environment.
Provide additional academic support and guidance to students when required.
Participate in school activities, faculty meetings, professional development programs, and parent-teacher interactions.
Uphold the educational standards, values, and discipline of Bodhisattva Vihara.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field (B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed. or equivalent).
Major specialization in Mathematics or Science preferred.
Prior teaching experience at the Secondary Level will be an advantage.
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve academic success.
Commitment to educational excellence and holistic student development.
