Roles and responsibilities of this job
The Marketing Officer is responsible for driving College’s visibility, student engagement, and institutional partnerships through outreach, events, activations, and strategic relationship management. The role requires someone who is organised, communicative, and comfortable working both on-campus and in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
In-Campus Programmes & Events
• Coordinate the classroom logistics, equipment setup, and facilitator scheduling.
• Manage registration, attendance, and documentation for all campus sessions and events.
• Organise and support activations, workshops, competitions, and student engagement activities.
Outreach & School Engagement
• Maintain and update an outreach database of schools, colleges, counsellors, and institutional contacts.
• Lead initial communications (email, calls, WhatsApp) to schedule and confirm outreach visits.
• Prepare outreach kits, brochures, presentations, and all session materials.
• Accompany and support outreach presentations, registration desks, and interactive activities at partner institutions.
• Collect and categorise student leads; share promptly with the Admissions team.
Partnerships, MOUs & Relationship Management
• Maintain follow-up communication with institutional contacts, counsellors, and principals.
• Track and document partnership opportunities, including MoU interest, joint events, and repeat collaborations.
• Support the coordination and filing of MoU documentation with senior staff.
• Send thank-you notes, event recaps, and relevant follow-up content to partners.
Out-Campus Activities
• Coordinate industry visits, external events, community projects, and student competitions.
• Manage travel logistics, consent forms, safety checklists, and student communications.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain weekly activity logs, outreach summaries, and digital records of all events and visits.
• Collect photos, feedback forms, and attendance data; prepare brief reports for internal and marketing use.
• Assist with post-event content, including reels, testimonials, and social media highlights.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree (ongoing or completed) in Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong organisational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Photography, content writing, or design skills are an added advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours during events and outreach activities.
• Proactive, collaborative, and professional in representing the College.
