Job Description

Job Summary: Marketing Officer is responsible to handle and promote QFX Cinemas content on social media platforms and design other digital contents for promotional purpose, and supervise marketing team.
Total Compensation: Negotiable
Reports To: Head of Marketing
Tenure: 2 years (Renewable)

Professional Pre-requisites

  • 2 years of experience in similar position in hospitality industry
  • Excellent documentation skills to strengthen institutional knowledge

Areas of Responsibility

1. Events

  • Plan in-facility events (from individual facility event to all facility events) from start to end as per the nature, requirement, target audience, and objective of the event.
  • Coordinate with FMs for venue and procurement for sourcing required materials for organizing the event.
  • Create and disseminate memo regarding QFX involvements in any events.
  • Lead promotional activities for the event.
  • Ensure smooth execution of any event (In-facility, NIIF, or others) from QFX's end and meets minimum compliance requirements.

2. Hall Booking

  • Conduct initial meetings to gather and understand the requirements & purpose of hall booking (movie, special screening, or premier)
  • Plan and document deliverables from each side.
  • Finalize negotiations, prepare contracts, verify and approve it.
  • Implement the agreed deliverables as per standards, and coordinate between hall and organizers

3. Partnerships & Sponsorships

  • Act as contact point for partners and direct their queries to respective personnel.
  • Plan, communicate, document, and execute agreements for forging new partnerships and continue existing ones.
  • Handle inquires related to DTA, conduct briefing meetings, handover to respective agency and follow up.
  • Lead and handle incoming sponsorship related queries and coordinate with them for achieving preset objectives

4. Media Relation

  • Act as contact point for media inquiries and coordinate with them.
  • Plan, communicate, document, and execute agreements for media relations.

5. Others

  • Plan, prepare and conduct movie review with customers, and share relevant files (including recording) with editing team
  • Provide comprehensive training to team members on marketing activities

6. Any task assigned by supervisor/ Head of department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in market research, social media management, and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferences

  • Bachelors in Management (specialized in Sales and Marketing)
