Location: Chandole, Kathmandu, Nepal
Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM) from Sunday to Friday
Position Overview
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for contributing to the implementation of marketing strategies. He/she will be responsible for supporting the marketing manager in overseeing the department's operations. Overall, he/she will organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
Roles and Responsibilities
Marketing
- Assist the Marketing Manager in preparing brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision, and value proposition for the short as well as long term.
- Assist in maintaining day-to-day tasks and improving the marketing strategies of the company.
- Preparing, planning, and project managing the publication of all publicity material and brand promotion for key product mix.
- To use all necessary channels to ensure staff understands their roles in replicating and promoting the brand such that the organization lives the brand.
- Provides leadership in designing and the production of all parts of marketing needs.
- Develop and implement the company's social media strategy and maximize profile across all activities. Maintain social media presence.
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing, database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
- Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
- Promote the correct use of the company’s brand both internally and externally through digital channels.
- Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels.
Research and Development
- Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups.
- Analyze the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets, and competitors’ activities.
- Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities.
- Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions.
Coordination
- Maintain strong communication between marketing executives and internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote the success of activities and enhance the company’s presence.
- Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Skills and Qualifications
- Task Related
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
- 2+ years of proven work experience
