Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Purpose:

This position serves to grow and bring awareness of the company in the Nepali and International market.

The major purpose of this role is to design successful marketing and fundraising plans and implement these marketing strategies. This role should ensure a steady stream of content across the FTO social media, newsletter and print profiles including stories, photos and videos through collaboration and communication with team members.

Reporting to: Senior Manager

Roles and Responsibility

General Marketing

Creation and execution of both national and international Marketing and fundraising campaigns through various mediums including but not limited to, direct mail, email, print advertising, digital advertising, press releases, social media (paid and organic) and creation of collateral materials.
Detailed tracking and reporting on all marketing campaigns and associated costs to ensure they align with the annual project budgets and targets.
Build relationships with key donor stakeholders, serving as a trusted marketing advisor and brand steward.
Collaborate with sales management to conduct general market research and analysis to evaluate trends and brand awareness, and new donor opportunities.
Ownership of the website. This includes updating copy, assisting with the building and design of the new website redevelopment.

Fundraising

Create, build and maintain relationships with donors, past and present.
Collaborate with remote stakeholders across several continents, time zones and languages.
Connect with individuals, businesses and organizations and get monthly sponsorships.
Ability to travel occasionally for content creation or client meetings.

Health & Safety

Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
Identify and report any health and safety hazards to the appropriate persons as soon as identified.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in any stream.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Nepali language.
Excellent writing skills.
Great planning and organizational abilities.
Should be an excellent communicator and should have communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience with major social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn

Preferred Skills

Experience using Canva.
Scooter/Bike License holder

Working Times

This role is five days per week. The expected working days are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. However, on occasion travelling might be required during weekends.
