Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and manage marketing and sales activities for our rice mill factory. The role requires frequent travel, coordination between factory and head office, and occasional stay at the factory premises as per work requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies for rice and related products
Identify new markets, distributors, dealers, and business opportunities
Maintain strong relationships with dealers, wholesalers, and key customers
Coordinate with factory operations for production planning, dispatch, and inventory control
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Visit markets and clients regularly to ensure brand presence and customer satisfaction
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review
Lead recovery and collection activities to ensure timely payments from clients
Represent the company in trade meetings, business discussions, and customer interactions

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Proven experience in marketing/sales, preferably in rice mills, FMCG, or agro-products
Willingness to travel extensively for marketing and sales activities
Primarily based in the factory but will be on-field/moving frequently for marketing purposes
Able to visit head office occasionally as per business needs
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
Self-motivated and result-oriented approach
Experience in recovery or collection management is preferred

Education Level: Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree)

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in marketing or sales
Experience in rice, grains, or food industry will be an added advantage
