Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator, of New Business Age (P) Ltd. is responsible to successfully handle all assigned acquisition, sales and manage the assigned area.Coordinates activities with customers, agencies, organizations and with peer functions with the NBA reporter in the assigned area and Head Office, particularly with Circulation, Marketing and Editorial Department as required.Provides regular feedback to the respective department of the Head Office and inform on the status of on-going and open key projects and any related issues.

Reporting:

  • The Bureau Chief reports to the Head of Circulation of New Business Age (P) Ltd.

Specific Responsibilities and Traits:

  • Plan and organize events and other relevant activities by collecting information from retail sales, subscribers, readers and advertisers/agencies 
  • Maintain regular contact to major advertisers, agencies and agents to understand customer needs, requirements and complaints for regular flow of advertisement, circulation promotion and financial situation.
  • Monitor the status of sales and subscription delivery for ensuring effective distribution system with adjustment, allocation and delegation of distribution routes.

Key Performance Measures: 

  • Achieve assigned monthly/annual sales target and active contribution towards achievement of monthly/annual sales target of the Bureau.
  • Provide regular feedback to Head Office.
  • Escalate situations of customer dis-satisfaction to immediate supervisor/ superiors.
  • Meet all commitments made to customers and fellow-employees
  • Positive customer feedback in terms of reliability and professionalism

Key Requirements:

  • Active team-player
  • Display high level of honesty and integrity
  • Good command in oral and written English and Nepali
  • Knowledge of local market and key business areas
  • Local Resident with own two wheeler preferable
