Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company's transport and logistics services. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills to achieve sales targets and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new customers for the company's transport and logistics services.
Visit prospective and existing clients regularly to build and maintain strong business relationships.
Prepare and submit transport quotations and negotiate competitive service rates.
Follow up on customer inquiries and convert them into confirmed business.
Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate daily records of client visits, leads, inquiries, and follow-ups.
Collect and analyze market information, including competitor activities, freight rates, and customer requirements.
Coordinate with customers and the accounts team to ensure timely payment collection.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly marketing and sales reports.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably in the transport, logistics, or freight industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Good knowledge of transport and logistics services will be an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Possess a valid two-wheeler driving license (preferred).
Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel for client visits.
