National Banking Institute Limited (NBI) is a national-level apex banking and finance academy in Nepal. It was established under the aegis of the Nepal Bankers’ Association with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Along with most commercial banks, its founding promoters included Nepal Rastra Bank and Sana Kisan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (formerly RMDC). Over the years, the number of promoters has expanded to 40, comprising a broad range of A, B, C, and D class Banks and Financial Institutions.

NBI invites applications from self-motivated, dynamic, and competent Nepali nationals for the post of Manager, Research & Academics as follows:

Position: Manager – Research & Academics
Number Required: One

Qualification Required: Master’s degree in Management or Statistics or Banking & Finance, or Economics (Ph.D. preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience for a Master’s degree holder (in Management/Statistics/Banking/ Finance/Economics or similar field) or minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience for a PhD holder.

Terms of Service: Annual Contract basis

Selection Procedure: Presentation and Interview

Skills & Knowledge required the positions:

Must poses excellent Research Skills.
Good Communication, Presentation, Leadership and Interpersonal Skills.
Knowledge of Research tools like SPSS, Stata, Python etc. preferred.
Work experience in Banking preferred.
