Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Lead the end-to-end investment process, including sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and executing deals.
Oversee financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and risk assessments for potential investments.
Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with company goals.
Manage and monitor the performance of the investment portfolio, ensuring optimal risk-return balance.
Prepare and present investment proposals, reports, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, regulators (SEBON, NRB), and key industry stakeholders.
Mentor, train, and guide junior analysts/officers in research, financial modeling, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and maintain high standards of corporate governance.
Identify new business development and fundraising opportunities.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting.
Professional certifications such as CFA, Semi-Qualified CA, and ACCA are highly preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, capital markets, or financial advisory.
Proven track record in deal execution, portfolio management, and team leadership.

Skills Required

Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Strong knowledge of capital markets, project financing, and regulatory compliance in Nepal.
Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills (Nepali & English).
Leadership and team management capability.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in hydropower, infrastructure, or large-scale project investments.
Strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and innovation.
