Job Description

The Manager should carry out the following job but not limited to :

  • Carry out day to day activities including making correspondence with the parties (Employer/Contractor) and Courts whenever required
  • Conduct internal meetings between DB Members and Arbitrators appointed by the Parties as directed by DB Members and Arbitrators
  • Notify the Parties regarding appointment of DB Chairman/Presiding Arbitrator and date of Preliminary Meeting
  • Carry out the other activities as directed by Chairperson/General Secretary/ Director.
  • Reporting to Chairperson/General Secretary on all important and urgent issues related to Adjudication/DB/Arbitration and Court Decisions
  • Establish and maintain Electronic and hard copy filing and documentation on:
    a. NEPCA Member, Panelist Arbitrators
    b. Archive of Adjudication / DB /Arbitration Awards
    c. Rules of Adjudication/DB/Arbitration
    d. Websites and IT Related Activities
  • Conduct the followings as per the requirement:
    a. Trainings/Workshop/Seminars
    b. Adjudication/Dispute Boards/Arbitration Meetings and Hearings
    c. NEPCA Executive Meetings
    d. NEPCA Annual General Meetings
  • Preparing Annotated Bibliography on Adjudication/DB and Arbitration Awards
  • Preparing a Summary of Adjudication/DB Awards and Arbitral Awards
  • Updating Websites
  • Maintaining Public Relations
  • Miscellaneous
