Minimum Qualification:

Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years’ construction industry experience, OR Civil Engineering Sub-Overseer qualification with at least 5 years’ construction industry experience or Two years’ of working experiences in logistic arrangement on the project or NGOs in a logistic supervisor position.
Working experiences or a sound knowledge of logistic management.
Ability to work with multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural groups and environment with ability to handle stresses and work within a tight deadline
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - inclusive of MS Project, and MS PowerPoint and Nepali typing,
Valid driving license
Experience supervising building works in remote areas lacking motorable road access
Experience in working consultatively and collaboratively with local stakeholders, such as community-based organizations, local government authorities, district authorities
Good written and verbal communication skills
A good level of fitness at altitude, where the primary mode of travel will be trekking on foot over mountainous terrain
Able to spend extended periods in the field (100% based on specific construction sites)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Under the supervision and guidance of PC and Engineer handle the logistics and support to the infrastructure related activities, maintain regular.
Communication/coordination with the LGs/stakeholders. Provide technical assistance to the beneficiaries during the CFA activities.
Must be responsible for the planning, oversight, and management and coordination of logistics support operations to ensure smooth accomplishment of projects of organization.
Ensuring that a project takes-off and is completed smoothly.
The Logistics supervisor is the primary focal point and communication channel for the staff, vendor and PC etc.
S/he should involve in the preparation and implementation of Community Action Plan
Throughout his/her works maintain sensitivity towards the issues of Gender Equality Social Inclusion (GESI).

The salary will be given as per the organizational rules and regulations.
