Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Oversee daily operations of the lodge to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
Supervise and coordinate activities of the staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving complaints and special requests.
Monitor and maintain high standards of hospitality and service.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Monitor and control operational expenses.
Implement cost-effective measures and strategies.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a competent and motivated team.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
Implement staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other partners.
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the lodge facilities.
Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs and renovations.
Provide regular reports on operations, financial performance, and guest feedback to senior management.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in lodge or resort management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
Familiarity with hotel management software.
Ability to manage operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services.
Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali; additional languages are a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
