Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of the lodge to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving complaints and special requests.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of hospitality and service.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor and control operational expenses.
  • Implement cost-effective measures and strategies.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a competent and motivated team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Implement staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other partners.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the lodge facilities.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs and renovations.
  • Provide regular reports on operations, financial performance, and guest feedback to senior management.
