Roles and responsibilities of this job

This is a full-time on-site role for a Loan Processing Specialist at Elite Business Staffing in Kathmandu. The role involves optimizing loan application procedures, handling loan documents, communicating with stakeholders, underwriting, and overseeing loan processing tasks.

Tasks and Duties :

Work in all areas of the home loan cycle
Support our current Mortgage Broking team across all leads and clients.
Adhere to all credit frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Conduct serviceability assessments with lenders
Enter and maintain customer data.
Liaise with Brokers to clarify scenarios to provide the best outcome for the client.
Order valuations followed by conducting pricing requests.
Review each loan to verify that all documentation is available, accurate, and completed, prior to underwriting and preparing submissions to lenders.
Liaise with lenders during the assessment process.
Ongoing loan management from application through to settlement
Service client’s post-settlement
Utilise the Salestrekker CRM and various other systems and tools.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Experience in loan processing or a similar role, preferably 2+ years within mortgage broking.
Thorough knowledge of loan products, regulatory compliance, and documentation.
Excellent written, communication, and telephone skills are essential.
A detail-focused approach, commitment to accuracy, and problem-solving.
Capable of performing well in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment.
Experience with ApplyOnline, Salestrekker, and Quickli will be highly regarded.
Experience with property investors & self-employed financials will be highly regarded.
