This notice is published for the information of all concerned, stating that under the BELIEF Program (Building Empowered and Resilient Communities by Strengthening Livelihoods, Inclusion, Education, and Food Security), which is being implemented in partnership between Kalika Development Center Nepal and Strom Foundation Nepal, employees are required for the year 2025. Nepali citizens who meet the qualifications are requested to submit their applications as per the details below.

Program Name: Building Empowered and Resilient Communities by Strengthening Livelihoods, Inclusion, Education and Food Security-BELIEF Program
Position: Program Coordinator
Required Number: 1
Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized educational institution (Master’s degree preferred).

Required Work Experience and Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of children, adolescents, and youth after completing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in an authorized or equivalent level position with experience in social mobilization.
  • Strong communication skills in English (speaking, writing, listening, reading).
  • Proficiency in program planning, record management, reporting, and participatory planning.
  • Knowledge, skills, experience, and a positive attitude towards integrated planning.
  • Knowledge of program implementation and quality assessment.
  • Ability to maintain close contact, coordination, and collaboration with government and local government offices.
  • Knowledge, skills, and commitment to child rights and advocacy.
  • Experience in quality education, mental health, and livelihood-related work.
  • Ability to work effectively with time management and prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-solving ability and experience in program research.
  • Knowledge and ability to implement good governance and transparency practices.
  • Ability to maintain records of monthly reports and statistical information and work effectively in teamwork.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including Word, Excel, Database Entry, E-mail, and Internet.

Shortlisting Process:
Only the candidates listed after the initial shortlisting process will be invited for a written exam, and only those passing the written exam will be called for an oral interview.

Priority:

  1. Preference will be given to women, Dalits, and indigenous groups with experience in the relevant field.
  2. Preference will be given to those who can write, read, and speak in English.

Additional Information:

  1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not exceeding 50 years.
  2. The benefits and facilities will be as per the institution and program guidelines.
