Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Legal Officer to join our team in Kathmandu. The ideal candidate will handle the company’s legal and regulatory matters, provide sound legal advice, and ensure compliance with corporate and securities laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all legal and regulatory matters of the company.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Provide legal advice to management and departments.
Liaise with regulators and external legal bodies when required.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in merchant banking, financial institutions, or corporate legal services.
Sound knowledge of corporate laws, securities laws, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Level: Senior Assistant to Junior Officer (final level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience)
