Job Description

Samriddhi Finance, a National level Finance Company with its Head Office in Hetauda, is looking for young, dynamic and result oriented Nepalese Citizens to join our team for Legal Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Legal Advisory:  Provide legal advice and guidance to management and various departments on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, contracts, and compliance.  Ensure that the company's business operations are in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Review Legal Documents: Review legal documents of approved loan files and perform legal vetting as per company rules.
  • Contract Management:  Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure they align with the company's interests and comply with legal standards.  Monitor the enforcement of contracts and address any legal concerns or breaches.
  • Regulatory Compliance:  Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant local and national laws, including financial, employment, and corporate regulations.  Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and advise management on potential implications for the business.
  • Dispute Resolution and Litigation Management:  Handle or supervise legal disputes, arbitration, andlitigation cases involving the company.  Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary, managing the relationship to ensure the company's best interests are represented in legal proceedings.
  • Policy Development and Risk Management:  Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies to minimize legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.  Identify potential legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Corporate Affairs and Legal Research:  Oversee the company’s legal corporate governance framework, ensuring compliance with company law.  Assist in preparing legal documents for corporate transactions. Conduct legal research on new laws, regulations, and best practices in the industry.  Stay informed about developments in the legal field and advise on their impact on the company.
