A reputed Cooperative based in Kathmandu promoted by renowned and highly professional persons of the society that has been established with a special purpose to establish as a benchmark for financial services through cooperative is looking to expand the team with highly professional management staff for achieving its objectives. Currently, we are seeking to recruit a Legal Officer to lead the legal and compliance department.

Desired Qualification, Skills & Experience

• Must have completed Bachelors in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Must have 3 years of work experience in related field of cooperative, banking, financial or public sector
• Must have fair working knowledge of Nepalese Corporate Law, Cooperative laws and related laws
• Experience in working as a Company secretary is preferred.

Job Description

• Prepare, examine, and analyze the legal documents, correspondences and compliance related reports and letters.
• Arrangement of Board meeting
• Preparation of Board agenda, minute and related reports
• Drafting of internal legal policies and documents
• Compliance of AML/CFT related requirements

Note: Preference is given to individual with a driving license with having own vehicle.
