The Legal Manager will be responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance functions of MKCL, its subsidiaries, and associate companies. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, managing all legal contracts and documentation, handling legal disputes, and effectively managing all court-related cases at various levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations relevant to MKCL and its group entities.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and legal institutions.
• Take full ownership of all legal proceedings and court cases involving MKCL and its subsidiaries/associate companies (civil, criminal, labor, regulatory, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain records of all ongoing and closed legal cases.
• Represent the company in legal forums when required or coordinate with appointed external legal counsel.
• Regularly follow up on case progress and provide strategic updates to management and the board.
• Prepare necessary documentation, witness coordination, and internal briefings in connection with legal proceedings.
• Advise senior management on legal risks and recommend preventive measures.
• Provide legal support in corporate structuring, investment, contracts, and regulatory affairs.
• Draft, review, and vet legal agreements, contracts, MoUs, NDAs, and service agreements to ensure legal safeguards.
• Maintain a centralized legal document management system.
• Draft and update internal policies to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct legal awareness training for employees and departments on key compliance issues.
