Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to support our legal operations. The role involves assisting in legal documentation, research, compliance matters, and coordination with internal teams and external legal bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Senior Legal Professionals

Support senior lawyers in preparing case files and legal documents.
Collaborate with the legal team to ensure seamless workflow.

Legal Documentation

Draft, review, and edit contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Organize and maintain legal files and correspondence.

Legal Research

Conduct research on legal issues, laws, and precedents.
Summarize findings and provide valuable insights for legal decisions.

Administrative Duties

Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and legal proceedings.
Manage documentation and filing systems for the legal department.

Note: Salary is based on qualification and experience.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law (BA.LL.B) or equivalent.
Basic understanding of legal principles and practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Team player with proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
Ability to prepare legal documents in Nepali and proficiency in Nepali typing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Internship or prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department (preferred but not mandatory).
Familiarity with corporate law is a plus.
