Job Description:

  • The candidate should be able to deliver theoretical frameworks and models which are relevant to digital marketing practice in real times cases. He/she should have the knowledge to understand the development of supporting technologies for digital marketing and examine digital channels and their suitability for inclusion for effective integrated online and offline marketing programmes and campaigns
  • The candidate should have a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding on brands, brand equity and strategic brand management with an in-depth understanding of the concepts and framework of branding which are crucial in designing and implementing marketing campaigns as well as activities to build, measure and manage brand equity.  He/she should be able to deliver topics on tools and techniques to improve long-term profitability via creating effective brand strategies
  • The candidate should have an in-depth understanding on the subject matter of Services Marketing, with a range of services marketing concepts, models, techniques and online activities applicable to service organisations
  • The candidate should be able to engage students in effective creative advertising with proper knowledge of development and skills of copywriting, and extensive practice of the development and critique of a personal portfolio of creative advertising. He/she will be required to explore the relationships between advertising, conceptual thinking, creative writing, teamwork and design; utilising all media including posters, television, print, radio, viral, digital, guerrilla and ambient
  • The should be able to deliver the role of public relations (PR) in the commercial activities of organisations, in particular, the importance of winning (and maintaining) customers, and with meeting competitive challenges in the highly competitive world of modern capitalism. The module discusses how PR interfaces with consumer marketing, together with the manner in which organisations use PR tools to interact with consumers in a trading environment

2. International Business

He/she should also relate to Innovation and entrepreneurship as central themes of the module as students explore the characteristics of entrepreneurship and identify conditions that foster innovation
  • "The candidate should be able to teach the decision-making process behind the organisation and management of operations and resources typically scattered around the globe. He/she should also know how to run business simulations which applies the knowledge of international business theory and management tools, develops successful strategies for entering international markets and manages business operations there
  • Understanding of European Union policy-making processes and relevant legal principles that govern how businesses operate and manage their supply chains within the Union market and beyond is also required
  • The candidate should  know fundamental aspects of international trade theories, commercial policies, open economy macroeconomics, and the international monetary system, with both theoretical and contemporary policy issues in the international economy
  • "The candidate will explore topics on the dynamics of international business operations and the evolving world markets focusing on dramatic economic changes such as new theoretical developments, empirical studies and the growing role played by emerging economies. He/she will be required to have a strong understanding of key theories and policies which will be analysed in the light of current international debates

Job Description:

  • The candidate should be able to deliver the basic principles of accounting and finance. The accounting portion requires an understanding of basic bookkeeping, drawing up and analyzing financial statements and budgeting. The finance portion requires to cover the concepts and principles which underlie the investment and financing decision process such as the financial system, the value of money, the cost of and return on short term and long term capital.
