Job Description

  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs in line with ongoing business requirements and strategy, and training needs analysis data.
  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs utilising KPI/performance data, talent management, and succession planning data.
  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job- shadowing, online training) utilising the 70:20:10 approach.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate packages that are engaging, support internal learning, and where possible are delivered via an online learning system.
  • Lead workforce capability development initiatives including the mapping of capabilities and curriculum and the conceptualisation, instructional design, development, deployment, delivery and documentation of related capability and learning programs.
  • Liaise with external providers and educational institutions to identify appropriate external learning and development solutions.
  • Engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and maintain a practical results focused Leadership and Management Capability.
  • Development Strategy/Model capturing the needs for various leadership levels to ensure a talent pipeline and support succession management.
  • Assist in the development and effectively communicate a learning strategy for the organisation and provide an annual learning plan that supports this strategy.
  • Develop and implement learning and development evaluation framework including mechanisms for identifying and measuring Return on Investment effectiveness against customer focused metrics such as attainment of skills and work related targets, team and individual behavioural change and, application of skills and knowledge learnt in the workplace.
  • Develop and implement learning and development programs utilising a robust project management approach to ensure appropriate resource allocation, budget management and achievement of specific and measurable learning outcomes.
  • Continuously improve training content to ensure it is meeting the needs of the business, and performance outcomes for participants.
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
  • Support managers to develop their team members through career pathing including tracking which individuals are on each career path, and timeframes for readiness/eligibility.
  • Other duties as required.
