Job Description

Date of Call: October 1, 2021

Job Purpose: As a part of community team, your role is supporting a cluster of Teach For Nepal Fellows through continuous coaching, support and guidance and helping to build and maintain sound working relationship with the local community (palikas) and schools by identifying ways of coordination, collaboration and partnerships in strengthening and deepening the impact of Teach For Nepal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Fellow placement and support through efficient logistical and related support
  • Carry out regular Fellow follow up through classroom observations and Fellow visits
  • Prepare regular reports on Fellows performance
  • Plan and organize review meetings, cluster meetings, training and workshops as per annual plan and calendar of the particular cluster of Fellows
  • Help identify innovative interventions and modules and support in annual plan preparation of the cluster
  • Support in creating and developing strong networks in the community for planning and exploring coordination, collaboration and partnerships opportunities
  • Support various Fellows led and organizational projects and programs intended for deeper impacts at the community
  • Track Fellow records and liaise with schools to ensure better teaching performances of Fellows
  • Build strong relationship with school management, local government and overall community
  • Contribute in enhancing Fellows learning and growth with collaboration with program teams; and 
  • Proactively contribute in sharing stories, initiatives and Fellows’ engagements inline with Communications team needs
