Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Conduct laboratory tests on construction materials, including soil, concrete, aggregates, asphalt, and other materials as required.
Prepare and test samples in accordance with industry standards and company protocols.
Document test procedures, observations, and results accurately.
Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for project managers and engineers.
Ensure that laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans for construction projects.
Collaborate with project teams to address any issues or discrepancies related to material quality.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Stay updated on industry advancements and new testing methods.

Note: Applicants should be experienced in bridge projects and the project location is in Jhapa.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Certification in laboratory testing procedures is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lab Technician in the construction industry.
Experience with material testing is essential.
Proficient in using laboratory equipment and conducting various tests.
Strong understanding of construction materials and their properties.
Ability to interpret test results and provide accurate reports.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a lab environment.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Understanding of quality control and quality assurance processes in construction.
