Association for Rural Development (ARD) – Kavre is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization committed to innovative development and resource mobilization for the socio-economic empowerment of marginalized and disadvantaged communities in Nepal. ARD-Kavre is a registered organization under the Ministry of Home, Government of Nepal. We are also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, NGO Federation of Nepal, District Coordination Committee of Social Organization (DCCSO), and District Coordination Committee (DCC) in Kavre district.

Job Description

  • Collaborate closely with the Agricultural Officer to implement agricultural activities in line with project goals and objectives.
  • Provide hands-on technical support to farmers, assisting them in implementing best practices for improved crop yield and sustainable agriculture.
  • Monitor and assess crop health, soil conditions, and irrigation systems, ensuring the implementation of effective agricultural practices.
  • Collect data on agricultural activities and contribute to impact assessments, enabling evidence-based decision-making for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with social mobilizers and provide training to farmers as per the necessity.
  • The Junior Technician is expected to reside in Bethanchok, Kavre throughout the project duration to ensure constant engagement with the community.
