Job Specification

Education Level	:	Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/Ib)
Experience Required	:	More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Required: JTA in Animal science (1), Plant science (1)

Should have at least 2 years experience in Climate change and Food security
Should have completed Junior Technical Assistance (JTA) in respective fields
Able to discover, investigate & make successive plans for agriculture/animal farm and policies of agriculture and animals
Good oral and written communication skills in Both English and Nepali
Good understanding of local language will be preferred
Fluent networking and coordination skills
Good interpersonal skills

Job Description

Performing extension of agriculture/animal related activities
Facilitate to establish farmers groups, follow up regular farmers meeting and identify the agenda for discussion
Support agriculture/veterinary officer for high yield production
Facilitate farmers training activities
Carry out crop, seed, fruit and vegetables production and animal husbandry activities
Perform activities related to post- harvest, marketing of agriculture/animal products
Collaborate and coordinate with other working agencies in field level
Facilitate to form farmers cooperative and marketing of agriculture/animal's products with value addition methods
