This role requires to ensure that the organization’s IT Infrastructure and System Operation smoothly, securely and efficiently. A Junior System Engineer will be responsible for day to day monitoring, operation and maintenance of the systems and infrastructure including configuration, patching, system security and support.

Job Specification:

• At least University degree in Engineering, Computer Application/ Science, IT or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in the implementation and support of network and communication systems, ICT infrastructure, including servers and data center.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), AIX Platform, HCI environment and networking/network technologies.
• Understanding of Active directory domain, file server, email system, PKI infrastructure.
• Participate in day-to-day operations of physical data center and system monitoring, including 24/7 rotational shifts.
• Assist in patch management and software updates for operating systems and infrastructure components.
• Assist in implementing system hardening standards for Linux (Red Hat, Oracle Linux) and Windows-based servers, firewalls, switches, load balancers, network devices, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks).
• Monitor LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network) and wireless networks, including maintenance of cabling, racking, and equipment management
• Assist with the deployment and monitoring of endpoint protection tools, antivirus, IPS/IDS and ACLs.
