We are looking for an enthusiastic junior software developer to join our experienced software development team. You will report directly to the development manager and assist with all functions of software coding and design. 

To ensure success as a junior software developer, you should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages, the ability to learn new technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team environment. Ultimately, a top-class Junior Software Developer provides valuable support to the development team while continually improving their coding and development skills. 

Junior Software Developer Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop high performance software libraries and APIs
• Implement highly scalable, performant, fault tolerant processing systems in an AWS environment
• Work with our teams to gather detailed requirements for new products, services & tools.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and introduce them as needed
• Analyze, debug and fix defects
• Be focused, passionate, and strive to find simple solutions to complex problems
• Have previous design/development experience with large-scale production systems and/or data platforms with knowledge of high availability cloud-based applications
• Possess strong troubleshooting, code optimization and refactoring skills.
• Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 1 years below full-time work experience in .NET technologies
• Strong ability to build RESTful services in C# with .NET/.NET Core, MVC, Xamarin
• Experience working on the JavaScript frameworks (like: Angular Js,  JQuery, Javascript), Web Markup Languages (HTML/HTML5, XML) and Style Sheet Language (CSS/CSS3) Bootstrap
• Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Proficient in implementing automated unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning using GIT/SVN
• Experience working on AWS based solutions.
