Job Description

Nepal-based Engineering, Procurement and Construction Company (EPC) company is developing various solar PV rooftop projects. The Renewable Energy Engineer will be based in the office of EPC company.

Station: The role will be based on the office of the EPC in Kathmandu.
Educational qualifications: At least Bachelors in the field of engineering.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in solar energy-related work.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities specified below are related to solar photovoltaic (PV) rooftop systems:

Design of solar photovoltaic (PV) rooftop systems (solar array layout, energy modelling, bill of quantity preparation etc.) under the guidance of a senior engineer.
Preparation of detailed feasibility reports and engineering drawings under the guidance of a senior engineer.
Travel to the project sites and supervise the installations ensuring that the systems are implemented as per design.
Perform testing and commissioning of each site under the guidance of a senior engineer.
Prepare project completion reports under the guidance of a senior engineer.

Skills required (must have): Proficient in the use of CAD and 3D modelling software (for example, AutoCAD, Google Sketchup).
