Job Description

In close collaboration with the Senior Programme Officer, the Junior Programme Officer will manage key outreach and communications activities for the National Award Operator (NAO) Office, maintaining existing relationships with our partners and developing new relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development & Account Management
  • Follow the partnership development process to identify, engage with, and recruit new partners.
  • Support the Senior Programme Officer to conduct orientation sessions and  trainings
  • Deliver the M&E framework activities as per its requirements, including digital surveys, on-site visits, and monitoring of document completion
  • Work with the Senior Programme Officer to maintain accurate oversight of all partners

Marketing and Communications

  • Maintain the social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube) with at least two posts a week and  the website with the help of a web manager
  • Collect news and stories and dispatch the monthly newsletter
  • Oversee the production of promotional material as required, working with designers and printers to deliver the finished products

Operations and Administration

  • Support the Senior Programme Officer  in managing the finances of the organization, including the processing of invoices and payments, bank transactions, and procurement
  • Prepare documentation and take minutes for Board meetings and AGMs
  • Maintain the internal database of the organization

Reporting and Legal Compliance

  • Assist the Senior Programme Officer in preparing funding reports for external donors as well as Social Welfare Council (SWC) and Municipality 
  • Assist the  Senior Programme Officer in the organisation renewal process
