Role Description:

Midas Health Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled CodeIgniter developer for junior and mid level position to join our team. This full-time, on-site position in Kathmandu involves working on the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software solutions.
Implement new features and functionalities according to project requirements.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address bugs and ensure robust software quality.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and architecture.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Optimize existing codebase for improved performance and scalability.
Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
Communicate effectively within the team to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software solutions and systems.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance development processes.

Skills:

Proficiency in relevant programming language ( PHP and PHP based frameworks CodeIgniter ).
Advanced knowledge of web development technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Strong expertise in working with relational databases and SQL.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior developers.
Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to the success of projects.

Education:

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

At least 1 - 2.5 years of experience in software development.
