Shilu Kunda Saving and Credit Cooperatives Limited is seeking a courteous and well-organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for members and visitors. The role supports member satisfaction, smooth daily office operations, and a professional public image for the cooperative. The Receptionist helps members feel welcomed and informed, and directs them to the right staff for further assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome members, visitors, and clients in a polite and professional manner.
Manage front-desk inquiries and direct members to the appropriate department or staff member.
Answer telephone calls, respond to routine inquiries, and take accurate messages.
Maintain visitor records, appointment schedules, and incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Provide general information about the cooperative’s services within the scope of the role.
Assist members with basic inquiries about savings, loans, account services, and documentation requirements, referring confidential or complex matters to authorized staff.
Maintain organized filing systems and basic administrative records.
Assist with document handling, photocopying, scanning, printing, and office correspondence.
Coordinate appointments and support daily administrative activities.
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional.
Protect member confidentiality and handle personal information responsibly.
Support other reasonable administrative duties assigned by management.

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Educational Qualifications (Essential)

At least Plus Two (+2) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational institution.

Professional Experience (Essential)

Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in reception, front-desk operations, customer service, administration, or a similar role.
Prior experience in a cooperative, bank, microfinance institution, or other financial service organization.
Familiarity with basic financial service terminology (savings, deposits, loans, interest, share capital).

Required Technical Skills

Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
Email and internet use.
Accurate data entry.
Operation of standard office equipment (telephone, printer, scanner, photocopier).
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Professional telephone etiquette
Courteous and clear communication in Nepali and basic English [confirm language requirements]
Active listening and patience
Ability to handle member concerns calmly and refer them appropriately
