  • Minimum bachelor's degree of Science in biotechnology.
  • Fresher/Minimum 1 to 2 years experiences in fertilizer (Manufacturing) company or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of microbiology principles, including microbial identification, culture techniques, and enumeration methods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
  • Strong laboratory skills and ability to follow established protocols.
  • Basic computer literacy for data analysis and record keeping. 

Job Description

  • Collect and prepare fertilizer samples for microbiological analysis. 
  • Perform standard microbiological tests like plate counts, dilution series, and identification of microbial strains.
  • Analyze data from microbial assays and record results accurately. 
  • Maintain and propagate microbial cultures used in fertilizer production. 
  • Conduct routine quality control checks on fertilizer samples to ensure microbial content meets specifications.
  • Assist in research projects aimed at developing new microbial strains or improving fertilizer efficacy. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the microbiology laboratory. 
  • Calibrate and operate laboratory equipment properly. 
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures etc.
