  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; involving in CA practicing firm previously is an advantage.
  • 3-4 years of proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar role, preferably in a Hydropower Sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and audit processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software; and experience in Tally systems is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Description

  • Responsible for managing the accounting and financial operations of the project, ensuring accurate financial reporting & maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the account department.
  • Need to close collaboration with other departments, auditors, and senior management to provide financial insights and control costs.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements, in line with NFRS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure audit readiness.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets with department heads.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the accounting system.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by management.
