Job Location: Kathmandu

Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in related experience in Software Development- Java. 

Professional Skill Required

  • Proficiency in designing and integrating APIs
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Dart, Java, or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with the fintech ecosystem and regulatory standards
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Detailed process in testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and tools

Requirements

Job Details: Java Developer is an Officer level contractual position, to be confirmed upon satisfactory completion of performance as per company’s policy

Age: Minimum age limit of 21 years and not exceeding 35 years for male and 40 years for female on the last date of submission of application.

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized university.  

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Co-ordinate with different Departmental Heads to collect requirements regarding required digitization  
  • Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a strong understanding of system architecture and design patterns.
  • Track each project and report it to concerned stakeholders  
  • Follow the Change Management Process of the Company for any software development  
  • Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs.  
  • Testing and evaluating new programs  
  • Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications  
  • Determining operational practicality  
  • Developing quality assurance procedures  
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems  
  • Training users  
  • Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts  
  • Research, develop and adaptation of the new technology  
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy and management, security and service delivery  
  • Participate in preparing specifications for new system acquisitions in accordance with established technical standards  
  • Assists in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures  
  • Document and Resolve issues within Service Level Agreement (SLA)  
  • Any other jobs assigned from time to time by Chief IT
