  • Educational Qualification: N-4 cleared, N-3 is preferred
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Japanese is crucial. The teacher must have an advanced understanding of Khanji, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
  • Bilingual Proficiency (Nepali/English)
  • A deep knowledge of Japanese culture and how to convey it to students in an engaging way.
  • The ability to teach complex language concepts in a simple, engaging way.
  • A teacher must be patient, motivating, and excellent at communicating with students to build confidence and maintain interest.

Job Description

  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to different proficiency levels focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
  • Create engaging and relevant materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, visual aids, and online resources to aid in effective learning.
  • Regularly evaluate students' language abilities through tests, quizzes, assignments, and oral exams, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Teach Japanese culture, customs, and social etiquette alongside language lessons to provide a well-rounded learning experience.
  • Utilize various instructional techniques, including group work, role-playing, and multimedia tools, to meet the different learning needs of students.
  • Help students prepare for proficiency exams, such as the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), by offering targeted practice, test-taking strategies, and study resources.
  • Provide additional support and guidance to students outside of class time, addressing their individual learning challenges and questions.
