Roles and responsibilities of this job

System

A strong background in Windows / VMware and be responsible for supporting a wide range of products/services on multiple architectures
Architect backup systems including DR planning, and replication
Architect infrastructure solutions for new product services
Conduct system monitoring across on-premise and cloud environments
Automate installation, configuration, backup, monitoring and alerting processes
Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, backups, and system management tools.
Provide detailed documented histories of all incidents, including diagnostics performed, successful solutions and root cause
Document processes and procedures for maintaining and installing all supported software and hardware.
Monitor relevant backups of the file systems, and databases and resolve backup systems issues.
Ensure all applications are fault-tolerant, highly-available where possible, and make efficient and effective use of computing resources
Designing, implementing and managing Active Directory

Network

Develop Backend Network Architecture
Experience with network troubleshooting & resolution of very complex routing problems via protocol analyzers, etc.
Switching CISCO, LAN - Access, Core, redundancy/high availability Setting up of LAN
Planning network Architecture, Implementation and support, create and update network designs/diagrams and Document
Occasional travel, On-call schedule and after-hour maintenance events are required

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Knowledge and Competence Criteria:

University graduate with 5+ years of proven industry experience
CCNA or CCNP Certification
Extensive Hardware and Software Configuration experience related to LANs and WANs
Knowledge with Dynamic Routing Protocols
Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols including but not limited to: BGP, OSPF, HSRP.
Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
Understanding - Vlans, Trunks, Ether-channels, STP, SPAN, RSPAN, inter VLAN routing
Good knowledge of IIS 7.0 server
Good knowledge of managing & maintaining windows servers (2008/2012)
Good understanding of Protocols (All layers) TCP, IP, UDP, SMTP, LDAP,TELNET, SSH, PORT Numbers
