Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Daily Operations:

Installing and configuring computer operating systems, computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners and applications
Maintenance of network infrastructure and architecture and data security
Controlling over and maintenance of user accounts
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Coordinating to the staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues
Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time

Documentation and SOP:

Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
Prepare daily operation SOP’s and to work on the basis of it
Prepare Weekly reports to figure out open issue based on agreed SLA’s and submit the same to the IT Manager
Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system

Projects:

Supporting the roll-out of new applications and networks
Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers
Testing and evaluating new technology
Training and technical/functional support to the users about new applications/utilities

Systems Planning

Designing, developing, implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures
Acting in alignment with the user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
Auditing systems and assessing their outcomes
Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
Testing and evaluating new technologies
Providing suggestions to improve internet surfing experience

Management of Vendor Services

Coordinate with software vendor, ISP
Requesting and evaluating services with vendors and service providers

Routine Administrative Tasks

Creating and maintaining inventory, which may include hardware, software and various item such as laser printer cartridges and peripheral equipment
Maintaining documentation of processes, procedures and troubleshooting guides
Identifying problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
Enhancing computing experience

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Other Specification

Bachelors in information technology or related subjects with a substantial working experience within relevant fields
Minimum two years of relevant work experience
Professional knowledge of network technologies and Windows clients
Experience in handling servers and related access management control
Ability to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and identify and isolate technical issues
Capable of working well under pressure
