About the Role:

As an IT Technician, you’ll be the first line of support for our staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. This is a 1-year contractual role, designed for candidates who have completed +2, CTEVT Diploma, or equivalent IT studies and want to apply their skills in a professional workplace. There is also a possibility of extension or permanency based on performance.

What You'll be Doing:

• Provide timely first-line IT support through tickets, desk-side, and virtual assistance.
• Install, configure, and maintain systems, software, and devices.
• Ensure internet/network stability by coordinating with ISPs.
• Manage IT tasks during staff onboarding and offboarding (accounts, access, devices).
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and documentation of issues/resolutions.
• Enforce IT/security policies and keep IT manuals updated.

What We're Looking For (Skills):

• Higher Secondary (+2), CTEVT Diploma in IT or equivalent.

• Technical Knowledge: 

  • Understanding of LAN/WAN basics, routers, switches, and troubleshooting connectivity.

  • Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments.

  • Confident in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) for day-to-day business tasks.

  • Knowledge of Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and basic administration tasks like account setup, password resets, and access rights.

  • Practical skills in assembling PCs, replacing components, and maintaining laptops/desktops.

  • Experience with VPN setup, VoIP/Softphone tools, and CRM systems would be a plus.

• Soft Skills: 

  • Strong communication and accountability

  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure

  • Eagerness to learn. and grow

Work hours: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (non-negotiable) including a 1-hour lunch break
