Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Support Specialist with expertise in Office 365 and AWS Security. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, particularly in security management and support, and will be proficient in writing PowerShell scripts or have knowledge of other coding languages. This role involves providing technical support, ensuring the security of Office 365 and AWS environments, and automating tasks through scripting to enhance efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

• Provide first and second-level support for IT-related issues and incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
• Manage and support Office 365 applications and services, ensuring their availability and performance.
• Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Office 365 and AWS environments.

2. Office 365 Security:

• Implement and manage security measures for Office 365 to protect against cyber threats.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents related to Office 365.
• Perform regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Educate and train users on best practices for Office 365 security.
• Microsoft Defender, Azure AD and InTune

3. AWS Security:

• Implement and manage security best practices for AWS infrastructure.
• Monitor AWS environments for security vulnerabilities and threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments of AWS resources.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure deployment of applications and services on AWS.

4. Scripting and Automation:

• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts or other scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance security measures.
• Develop and implement automated solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Maintain and update existing scripts to adapt to changing requirements and technologies.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
• Proven experience with Office 365 administration and security.
• Proven experience with AWS security management and best practices.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in writing PowerShell scripts; knowledge of other scripting or programming languages is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Office 365 services and applications.
• Understanding of AWS services, including IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and others.
• Knowledge of security principles and best practices for both Office 365 and AWS.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Very good in english speaking as we have british clients
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to security and support.

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• CompTIA Security+
