Location: Lalitpur,Nepal 
Job Summary:
 This position is responsible for LAN/WAN systems and end user support in Flextecs Nepal

Job Description:

  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, support and repair computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment
  • Implement OS updates (Windows, macOS), software upgrades or installs, security patches, clean/remove malware, activate and support mobile devices
  • Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and administrative systems
  • Need assessment for IT Supplies and Services, ask for quotations from vendors and procure in coordination with Admin Department
  • Documenting of IT inventories (Operating Systems & applications), networking devices (switches and routers) and wireless Infrastructures
  • Create basic Batch / Shell / VB Script for users
  • Create and update users in active directory
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues and liaise with ISP for the uptime guarantee
  • Door Access and attendance device management
  • Assist the information technology administrators with configuration, maintenance and monitoring of access servers, routers, switches, Microsoft servers and Internet servers including DNS, radius, web, login administration, e-mail, network monitoring and print servers
  • Be willing to work non-traditional hours when necessitated by business requirements or system failure

Qualification and Experience:

  • Should have minimum Bachelor’s degree preferably
  • Having 1 year of working experience in the same field

Other Specification:

  • Proficiency in Computer and other hardware troubleshooting and repair, Office application (Outlook, Word, Excel), Operating System and Network troubleshooting and update
  • Working Knowledge on Office 365 licensing and management, MacOS and its applications
  • Basics on Active Directory User Management, MSSQL Database admin, IIS Admin, Multifactor Authentication, Citrix, Miktrotik, UBNT, Cisco / Netgear Manageable Switches
