Job Description

1.  System & Network Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus, and data protection measures.

2. Technical Support

  • Provide IT support to staff, faculty, and students.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Maintain records of technical issues and solutions.

3. Database & Server Management

  • Manage and maintain databases and servers.
  • Ensure regular backups and data recovery systems.
  • Monitor storage, performance, and system updates.

4. Software & Application Management

  • Install and update operating systems, applications, and tools.
  • Ensure software licensing compliance.
  • Assist in implementing new technologies.

5. Website & Digital Platforms

  • Maintain and update the organization’s website.
  • Manage email systems, online portals, and digital resources.

6. Security & Compliance

  • Implement cybersecurity measures.
  • Monitor unauthorized access or security breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

7. Inventory & Documentation

  • Maintain records of IT assets, software, and licenses.
  • Prepare reports on IT operations and improvements.

8. Training & Capacity Building
