We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Investment Officer – Private Equity to join our team and contribute to the financial success of our portfolio companies during the pre- and post-investment phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of portfolio companies, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and maintenance of healthy liquidity levels to meet financial obligations.
Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate key financial and operational performance metrics, providing insights to the management team and investors.
Valuation & Reporting: Conduct periodic valuations of portfolio companies and track investment performance using metrics such as IRR, MOIC, and cash-on-cash returns.
Tax Compliance & Strategy: Ensure tax compliance and provide advice on tax-efficient structures, including the preparation of tax filings and strategic tax planning.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support: Assist in M&A activities, including conducting financial due diligence, supporting deal structuring, and evaluating financial opportunities for growth.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks within portfolio companies and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.
Investor Relations: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to investors, providing regular updates on portfolio performance and any significant developments.
Governance & Internal Controls: Support portfolio companies in strengthening their governance frameworks and internal controls to ensure alignment with best practices.

Required Education Level:Professional Certification

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Required Education Level: Chartered Accountant/ ACCA
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within private equity, investment banking, corporate finance Audit/Consulting/Due diligence experience.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting standards, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
Tax Expertise: Sound understanding of tax regulations, planning, and compliance within private equity or investment sectors.
Due Diligence: Prior experience with financial due diligence, deal structuring, and M&A processes.
Communication Skills: Ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in private equity or with portfolio management.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling platforms).
Strong understanding of performance measurement and valuation techniques in private equity.
