Job Description

The Inventory/Store In-Charge is responsible for managing the college’s stock of supplies and equipment. This includes overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and handling inventory documentation. The role also involves coordinating with departments for material requisitions and maintaining accurate records of stock movements.

Job Specification:

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory or store management, preferably in an educational institution.

Skills Required:

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to use inventory management software and tools.
Basic knowledge of supply chain management.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
Ensure the proper storage and distribution of items.
Perform regular stock audits and reconciliations.
